Cena used my “People do things together” scan for the invitation to my party.  I really wasn’t making a hint when i posted it and suggested that!  She decided the theme should revolve around the thrift store so gifts were to be from the Salvation Army as were outfits.

Josh learned that drinking wine with a bushy fake mustache is difficult.  and that drinking wine with a straw makes it go down fast.

Pete gave me this fantastic “redneck companion fare coupon” gift.  (Alaska Airlines issues $50 companion fare coupons to credit card holders that allows someone to fly with you for $50.  I think it just so happens that the overweight baggage [are you calling me fat?] fee is $50 also.)

Much of the food people brought was bacon enhanced.  Bacon biscuits, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, bacon wrapped pineapple, BLTs… It is a good think i don’t have a physical after my birthday.

Mitch shopped in the little boys section of the thrift store.  His belly just begged for zerberts… shocking.  I know.

We had about half of the adult black population in Petersburg at our house!

There were others that made the party too.  Everyone there; Mitch, Josh, Seth, Mike, Joy, Cena, Ryan, Sarah, Rachel, Kelli, Kory, Jenna, Marina, Pete, Brian, and another Rachel.  I got some neat gifts - a sewing machine, a six second ab machine, a Kenny G tape, the outfit that Cena got for me to wear, and some other thrift store stuff.  But the cards that i was given were the nicest.

People do things together was scanned from a children’s book.  I really like checking beat up books that have little chance of being read (missing pages, broken binding, or at the thrift store free pile) for artwork. The image here is a small portion of the scanned page.  Actually it was two pages - a centerfold if you will.  I thought the page would make for a great invitation for a party.
