The (eBay) customer is always right

I just went to leave feedback for the seller of the trailer hitch that i bought on eBay.  This little pop-up appeared.

The (eBay) customer is always right

As a frequent seller on Amazon i can attest that buyers can be complete idiots at times.  Sellers are blamed for shipping delays or delivery failures even when there is proof of shipping the item.

I agree that it is nice to not have to worry about retaliatory feedback though.  In my case the feedback is perfect.  The seller went above and beyond to get my item to me and make everything all-right when the shipment was weeks late.

to the highest bidder

Tiffany says that my eBay post below inspired her to sell her penpal services. $135 in postage that she says she’ll pay. I think this would make a great gift for a college student or an inmate (hmmm… the only one i know is Brian Radel and he owes the mayor thousands of dollars.) I think that Tiffany’s project is a great one - i just hope the bids come in at $500 or so. To help get the buyer in touch with the seller i have contributed to the project. I bought a $25 week-long classified ad on fark. At this moment there have been 326 hits to her auction page from the ad i sponsored and the bidding is at $26. Best of luck Tiffany!
