Moving Zoom

Moving Zoom
On New Year’s eve we started off by loading my trailer with all of the bikes at Zoom and taking them to the house. Don, Julie and Sean came to town for the holiday so they helped with some of the loading and unloading in the days that followed.

I even made Grandma Shirley’s fruit salad for Christmas dinner. Turkey, hand mashed potatoes (like dad makes) stuffing, green beans (fresh – not canned) and home-made gravy.

Pepper’s entire wish list is puzzles and boots. Too bad the boots i bought for her were the wrong size!

My christmas presents 2009

My parents took pictures like this of some of my first Christmases. It was really neat to look back and see some of the gifts that survived decades (like Skunky – my favorite stuffed animal). So i decided to resume the tradition.

This year had the makings for a great Christmas; socks, underwear… games, toys… thank you everyone!

We opened one present each on Christmas eve. Then on Christmas morning we actually slept in then opened our stockings. Then I made waffles and we got to opening gifts. Ollie didn’t really get anything though.

Pepper had a beautiful tree skirt made and we tried coordinating some of the decorations. But with all the presents we couldn’t even see the tree skirt!
