I was in Shanghai when Pepper and Jordan picked up Lynx. Here’s the ball of Play-Doh tolerating being stuffed in Pepper’s hoodie.
I said goodbye in Shanghai on February 27th. I’ll see Pepper and Jordan again on April 3rd – just a little over a month. Then we will have two months until we see each again.
We had a great Chinese New Year, saw some amazing sights in Shanghai and Harbin, Pepper got to meet Kevin… it was a really amazing trip. Lots of reasons to smile!
After the crazy birthday last year ($1,000 worth of stuff and my passport stolen) I promised myself that future birthdays wouldn’t be spent at foreign police stations. So far it is a success. But in an hour my flight departs for Shanghai which will cut my birthday short by crossing the International Date Line.
The mountains were beautiful on my flight from Petersburg to Juneau. I’ll soon be on a flight to Seattle where i’ll be renewing my Aquatic Facility Operator certification. On the 6th I head to Shanghai!
This afternoon Pepper and Jordan left to head back to Shanghai until June. I’ll be heading there for much of February and should see them in April also – if things go well – for at least a week.
We got to the airport a little too early. the lights were off and there were not any staff around. It was about an hour and a half flight back to Shanghai.
We took an Air China flight from Beijing to Xi’an. The flight was early in the morning and took about two hours. (Our flight to Beijing from Shanghai was about 2 also.)
