One of the things i try to do when people visit is to get them on an iceberg for a photo. Stupid? Yes. But worth the risk so far. Since the LeConte Glacier is the southernmost tidewater glacier in North America you can’t do this any further south.
Sea Lion and a float plane
Today we took out Mike Tozzo‘s boat. We saw a humpback whale, plenty of sea lions, a harbor seal, and Tim got on an iceberg. Cena took this picture while i tried to line up the monster with the background.

I had some time between sessions and went down to the waterfront in Valdez, Alaska and took a few pictures. I think i took a good set for using for a panoramic – just need to get the software to stitch them together.

Seven deer
These seven Sitka blacktail deer have been around the pool for months. I see them every few days in the parking lot. Today i just happened to have a better camera than my camera phone so took a quick photo. I was in the hallway connecting the pool and gym when i took this.
