I took this picture of the line of people waiting for Santa, the photographers, Santa, and the elves by zooming in on the security globe mounted to the ceiling above Santa.

There’s an “order” to the way that Breakfast with Santa photos are done. As people arrive they are given a number for them to use to stand in line after he’s done mingling. This youngster was eagerly standing in front of the line and skipped straight to Santa’s lap.

Jordan’s holiday cheer

Last week we put up the Christmas tree and decorated it. Jordan pulled on a pair of stockings on his feet and then another on his hands with this Santa hat and pranced around a bit. He’s awfully excited about Christmas!

A second folding lawn chair

I just used seatbelt webbing and the wide strap that I found on the roadside in the spring to refurbish this folding lawn chair. I found the frame at the dump on Sunday.

Seatbelt buckle bottle opener

The fine shop Alchemy Goods inspired this idea.  Using a part from a car seatbelt buckle you can make a snazzy bottle opener.   It isn’t easy though.  I had to use heat from my propane torch, my heavy vice, and a bit of hammering to get this bent.  The next one I tried ended …
