COVID-19 Venn diagrams for flu, common cold, allergies, food poisoning, and the “stomach bug”

It seems like a day does not go by, even after a year, that someone sneezes and the response is a joke about COVID. Some people are writing off symptoms as “just a cold” as others seek reasons in their symptoms to work from home to be extra cautious. Until the home use of rapid tests when people feel sick (like they might check their temperature when under the weather) becomes prevalent we have to rely on people knowing the common symptoms and what those might or might not be.

There is no one symptom for everyone that becomes symptomatic.
