Bangalore Fort

One of our tourist stops in Bangalore was to visit the fort.  You can read about it on Wikipedia.   It was a segment of a former fort.  Having been to a fair number of forts in our time, this family was underwhelmed.  That said, the massive doors were something to behold and it was fun to seek out the carvings of artistry among the fort’s remaining ramparts.  It was free to enter and unlike other places that are free in India wasn’t overwhelmed with enamored couples.  It is a quiet moment preserving centuries of history in a bustling city.
