Oh, the places I’ve been 2014 edition

It’s time to flaunt my travel for the year in my annual list of countries that I have added.  I am up to 34 nations now.

  • Vietnam
  • Cambodia
  • Indonesia

  • Peru
  • Ecuador
  • China

  • South Africa
  • Zimbabwe
  • Botswana
  • Zambia
  • Guatemala
  • Honduras
  • Belize

  • Iceland
  • Norway
  • Denmark
  • Czech Republic
  • Italy
  • Vatican City
  • Mongolia
  • Thailand
  • Myanmar

  • India
  • Oman

  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Bangladesh

New continent!

Note that we spent a few hours outside of security in Malaysia but I didn’t count that even though there is a stamp in my passport from the visit.  Also, I walked on the Nepal side of the river bordering it and India on three different times during our rafting trip but that didn’t count — especially since there wasn’t any stamping of my passport!

  1. I wish I could recall those in-utero visits! Of these places it would be hard to pick a favorite. I really want to (and will some day) go back to Cambodia, Czech Republic, and New Zealand. I know that I’ll be headed to Nepal in a month for coaching soccer, Malaysia for work training, and then back to Oman for coaching track. We’ll also be seeing more of India during our spring break…
