I really would like to take the time to do a nice custom revision of my site.  I think it would be best if I broke out my content to associated blogs or sub-domains.  I have a few domains that are relevant like the Travel Guide to Beer which also need to have visual improvement.

Since we have been doing a bit of travel and I would like to showcase some of our photography something that is a better presentation of the images would be nice.  I used to get a lot of Flickr traffic but since my pro membership expired a year and a half ago I have not been uploading there much.  A self-hosted solution with a nice presentation would be nice.

I definitely have come to prefer the user interface that WordPress provides.  Finding an elegant way to present photographs in a blog isn’t very simple.  The wordpress slider plugin looks like a good way to grab content and display it in a nice way.  It can grab from Instagram, Flickr, and even the WordPress image directory – all services that I have used.

I need to go through my content and organize it though – I have often used these services just as an image host and not to showcase my best photographs.
