Hash House Harriers in Mongolia

For a number of weeks now we have gone for hikes with the Ulaanbaatar Hash House Harriers.  I had never heard of H3 before coming here but Pepper has know of them for years.  They are a worldwide group of self proclaimed drinkers with a hiking or running problem.  We see it as a good way to get out and do something active while meeting new people.  Today was the last “winter” hash.  Pepper, Jordan and I were given names. I was given the name Sibeerian.  Or maybe it is Cybeeryan which would combine cyber, beer, and my first name… yes, I think that is how it is spelled.  Pronounced sibeeeerian though.

Leave it to me to tweak the spelling of a nickname!

The group will be hashing on Tuesdays through the summer. They meet at the Bayangol Hotel parking lot at six.  Through the (tolerable) winter months we have been meeting at the Irish Castle in Zaisan at noon.
