Heading to the World Beard & Moustache Championships

It has been two years since the WBMC happened in Anchorage. This event happens only every other year and on the 15th of May it will be happening in Trondheim, Norway.

Kevin hasn’t shaved in two years. He’s ready. And me? Well, I wasn’t as committed to this contest as I was last time around. I’ve let a full beard grow only since St. Patrick’s day – only a month and a half. Although I have a bit longer of a goatee.

Pepper, Jordan, and I leave Petersburg on Friday afternoon. We’re crashing with Pepper’s sister Holli and Ryan for a night in Seattle. Then on Saturday afternoon Kevin and Trina will be on a flight with us to Iceland. We’ll spend time in Reykjavik and meet up with some other members of Beard Team USA. Then we’ll head on to Norway where the contest will be held in Trondheim. After the contest we’ll head to Oslo to celebrate syttende mai – the Norwegian Constitution Day. From there we will head on to Denmark for a few days. Trina and Kevin will return home to Los Angeles and our family will (shhh! it’s a secret from Jordan!) head to Rome for the last portion of our trip.
