Sandals out of ATV tread and seat belt webbing
Obviously i’m enjoying some quieter indoor crafts to stay inside while it’s dark and colder. Here’s a sandal that I made Monday night and the other on Tuesday morning before work. I even wore them all day Tuesday to try them out.
They’re best for quick jaunts outside. But I walked part of the trail we’re working on and found that the big lugs collected a lot of forest debris – even twigs, pinecones, and stones. But they were great on the frosted deck first thing in the morning.

you made it great, those are the kind of slippers we put on in Kenya, mainly due to poverty but they are long lasting , i love your ideas, am yet to share more with you thanks alot
SO clever! I must tell my twenty=something sons about your resourcefulness…I may be older, but I know an inventor when I see one…thanks again…If people would take a lesson and see how “cool” it is to use up what’s already out there, we would really be helping out the planet and her health.
