I took this picture just moments after Rachel said “don’t eat the bubbles, they’ll give you diarrhea.” promptly all three chased bubbles with their mouths for a while!

I headed out to Green’s Camp just after noon and was lucky to find a spot in the sun and on the water. We were not supposed to have weather this good the whole weekend. Joining me were Rachel and her three kids, Marisa, Heather and Justin.

Cooler loaded. A different cooler loaded with food. Tent, firewood, camp chairs… got everything. Well, almost everything. I forgot my sleeping bag! So i ended up sleeping with a snuggie on top of me!

I have a few different news service feeds on my homepage. Today these two were on the CNN portion. It is like CNN just uses a template… “Death toll rises to [insert number] in [insert country] [insert disaster].” In this case they forgot to change the number between the disasters.

I got the window trim all sealed with caulk and painted it the same color as the short wall in the room. I still need to mount the curtain hold-backs bu that will need Pepper’s eye to decide where they are placed. Also the trim at the bottom of the hatch into the attic just to the right of the bed needs to be replaced with a white piece… but i’ll do that sometime that i need to be in the attic.

Two of my friends seem to disagree about how to spell Gary Coleman’s signature exclamation! Back to back!

I love finding guayabera shirts at Sally’s. This one has the bonus of being long sleeved and having embroidery not just vertically on the body but also around the cuffs. It is nice and big too!
