Rest in peace Yeti
Last night Yeti passed away. He was about 9 years old. He was from the Petersburg Humane Association and had been left in an apartment that someone moved out of. Yeti had separation issues. When I moved into my current home I left for a vacation right afterward. He made the mile trek back to my old house. Yeti was a polydactyl cat – he had 3 extra toes on each front foot and one extra on each back foot… Hence his name.
Yeti died from chronic renal failure. His kidneys gave out. Yesterday I had him shipped to Juneau and last night they started an IV.

i’m sorry to hear of yetti’s demise. i have a friend who now cohabitates with a boy who has a poly-toed cat named sasquach. i thought the similar names due to their toes was funny. take care my friend
now Yeti can enjoy all the catnip he wants at his new place. All pets are great with what little time they spend with us …
So sorry for your loss. Having never had a cat until about 3 yrs ago and now having three of them (plus two dogs) I can’t imagine what it would be like for one of them to not be there.
Sounds like you gave him a great life. Just remember that.
