China: ultralight

I did carry on more than a netbook, my passport and a toothpaste sampler. But that was all i needed to remove from my carry on bag. On this trip i actually ended up checking two bags – full with my clothes, gifts for Jordan’s birthday (from Pepper, her mom and me), and even 8 pounds of textbooks for one of Pepper’s co-workers.
