Favorite picture of the day:

We slept in and then checked out of Las Palmeras. The owner has great English speaking skills but the rooms are designed for maximum occupancy. Our room had two bunk beds and a narrow passage to squeeze through to get to the restroom. So we moved to Tabuba which had a great view of the beach. We bought a couple of beers and sat and watched the waves and people for a while.

We had breakfast at Funky Monkey. The food came sporadically and the service was slow but the food was good. I had 2 fried eggs, fruit with yogurt, pineapple juice and tea.
I went and grabbed an umbrella in the same area as yesterday. I made sure to cover the spots with SPF 35 that i missed the day before.
Levy arrived with Angela and Angelica and they gave me some SPF 60 for my ears and nose. I doubled it up on my burned left bicep area too.
Levy and Angelica played in the waves, Angela visited with other friends of hers and i alternated between sun, shade and waves.

Levy and i went to “the chicken man” for dinner and got the last two. It was delicious. Aside from the chicken there was beans, rice, a salad, and smashed and fried banana.

I retreated to my hotel room for air conditioning, TV, a shower and the privacy of my own toilet.
