The best start to a Scrabble game EVAR
Yesterday Beth suggested getting some friends together to play Scrabble or some other board games during one of our winter nights. I told her today that i was taking off in two weeks for a while so we should pick a day to try and do it. And then i mentioned that you can play Scrabble online. Sure – it isn’t as social but the wait for your turn can at least be productive with other things.
I added the application called “Scrabble Beta” and invited Beth to play a game of it with me. I got the first turn (perhaps that’s standard if you start a game though) and i hit the shuffle button a few times and saw a word. Jughead.
Yes, that’s a 104 point word by using all 7 of my first tiles and having the 8 point letter J on a double letter score square. I will confess that i did use the dictionary function of the game to make sure my play was valid. I think that i have only ever used all 7 tiles one other time playing Scrabble.
I hope i didn’t scare Beth away.
