Here is about half of the current crop of shaggy mane mushrooms growing in our yard. The theme for today’s Finger Food Friday is “stuffed” and i’d love to figure out how to use these mushrooms.

They’re awesome eating!! You should chop the stems up fine and saute with shallots, mix with sausage, cheese of your choice and stuff! Maybe use a muffin tin to bake them to keep their shape! YUMMY….

Cena followed your suggestion and they were tasty. We read a few warnings online about not eating them and consuming alcohol. Three of us were brave enough to have a few drinks and try them and i had no reaction.
