My stupid timeshare purchase continues to bite me in the butt. I really should have stood my ground on this purchase. I have half a mind to stop making maintenance payments annually and let collections start calling my ex-wife.
The resort property i bought about 7 years ago was bought out by a different timeshare company last year. I have a studio unit with a deed that comes with 2,500 points annually that i can trade for time (along with a fee of course) at different resorts. I’ve used the timeshare almost every year and have never stayed at the same place twice.
Diamond jacked the fees charges significantly. Argh.

No one is scamming you other than yourself. Your defaming comments will come back to bite you legally.
You have many avenues to vent…like calling even me…the Chairman of the company. Be careful with your words as defamation is a tort and collectable in the courts in the US…if you want a solution I suggest you e mail me or call me…702 261 1010…

Well, I just called the phone number. When asked for an extension (which I did not have) I entered 0 and the kind woman that responded told me to call tomorrow morning for reservations.
Nothing in my statement is defaming at all. No legal action would stand up. Fact: i have 2500 points for a one week studio. Fact: 2500 points can not even be exchanged for a one week studio rental in my home resort. Fact: i sent a question in via the “contact us” portion on the website.
You’re right about scamming myself though. I’m good at that.
I’ll try calling you again tomorrow Stephen.
