With another heavy winter snow on the ground maybe i should dig the ski gear out of the closet. This morning i saw Pete plowing with his four wheeler and thought i should loan him my ski goggles. They fit over glasses and since they cover about half of your face they really help keep you warm. It has been a few years since i was last on my skis. I have telemark gear. My skis are not high end Salomon skis but seem to work alright.  I love the boots that i have (my telemark boots and my winter boots).  The last few times i have been skiing i just rented gear and did standard downhill skiing.  Even if i just am crawling up on the roof on Sunday to shovel it off in preparation for next week’s warmer temperatures i should get my rain pants, winter boots, and good gloves out.  Last year i fell off the roof while clearing the lexan deck roofing.  Doing that this year wouldn’t hurt at this point either.  On the plus side, we’re getting quite a bit more daylight now.
