People do things together was scanned from a children’s book. I really like checking beat up books that have little chance of being read (missing pages, broken binding, or at the thrift store free pile) for artwork. The image here is a small portion of the scanned page. Actually it was two pages - a centerfold if you will. I thought the page would make for a great invitation for a party.

I’m just getting together a nursery decor project that’ll feature my favorite illustrator. As in, loved her when I was a child, and sought out her books at Title Wave while pregnant with Vivian. A few are now sufficiently tattered that I don’t feel torn about using them to decorate. The artist is Gyo Fujikawa and her stuff has a similar feel to the pure-hearted kitschy drawings of the 50s.
Do you know how to make wallpaper?
