One of the improvements we’ll eventually complete is a dedicated home office. We’re far from buying office furniture but some deals on office supplies have me starting to think about what we need in our home office. There’s an honest page about getting cheap or free office equipment but we’re thinking beyond begging for a free desk on the local online forum. I’d like to have a spot with a desktop computer with a flat panel monitor set up. That computer could run a web cam and serve information from my weather station to this site. I could have it act as a print server and keep a scanner connected to it. Keeping a few other things nearby like a filing cabinet and small picture taking booth would make it great for keeping up with my paid web projects and other online business.
