We booked much of our Vietnam flights through my (former) favorite online travel website – Expedia.com. We decided to make some changes that are costing us a bit of money and one of those involves a refund from Expedia. It has been a few weeks since we made the changes and there have been no credits posted to my account for the original purchase. Cena just called and was told that refunds take up to three billing cycles. Well, that makes the switch to my new favorite online travel website that much easier. Priceline. With their name-your-price system, Kevin and i managed to get a room at a 4 star hotel for $62.44 including taxes in Las Vegas. Granted, they don’t give refunds at all for anything you pay for with that system – but for a last-minute hotel the price was right.

Expedia tried to scam me once(click on my website to read about my case). There are also hundreds (even thousands) of EXPEDIA’a unhappy customers : http://www.expedianews.com
Good luck with your refund.

Hi,
My wife and I were just ‘ran over’ by Expedia. We had plans to go to Madrid over the holidays. Were you able to get a refund thru Expedia? Everytime we spoke to a ‘customer service’ rep and a supervisor, we got different answers. They really were rude to my wife (her English is not great, but she is very sweet and patient).
Would you email me please. Thanks!!!

Take care and thank you for your blog. I want to fight them and get out money back.
