Ryan McFarland

I was showering when i heard about the World Trade Towers going down.  (No, i wasn’t sleeping in, Alaska is 4 hours behind New York.)  Naomi ran into the bathroom and told me that planes had flown into the buildings and they had collapsed.  I think i asked her what day it was.  Ryan Welde had called and told her.  We didn’t have television service so we went to the fire hall to watch the news.  My first rational thought while watching that was “the world will never be the same.”  Once i got to work I was glued to my computer refreshing news websites every ten minutes.
