The Ryan McFarland results battle
I think i may have figured out the best way to bump zieak.com to the top of the “Ryan McFarland” results. Right now my 43things page is the top result. What if that page were to link to this page using “Ryan McFarland” as the anchor text? The 43things main page has a pagerank of 7 and my profile page has one of 3. So i changed my entries about a few of my completed 43things to point to this site and now just need to wait for Google’s spiders to do their thing. If i do the same for the other pages in the top 10 results that i have some control over (Amazon profile, 43places, and AllConsuming) then my search position competition will be pushing up my real site.

This is really useful stuff, would you think its more important to get a backlink from a good site or from a site that is in your niche? What I am saying is, if a quality link in non-related places worth having? sandy7 recently posted..Internet TV Software
