Sunday’s day of unrest

We got cracking early on Sunday.  In order for me to install the monitor heater in the house we need to finish the trim along the baseboard and may as well paint the room.  So we installed 1×12 pine for a bold baseboard and bought some paint from the hardware store that had been mixed the wrong color.  They sell the “oops paint” for just $10 a gallon and Cena found an orangish color that she liked.  So we moved things out of that room (it isn’t really a room - sort of a landing/hallway that’s too big for a landing and too wide for a hallway) and painted the walls.  I still need to cut trim for the window that i replaced quite a while ago but i need to send the table saw back to Juneau for a replacement.  We still need to caulk the trim pieces where there are holes or cracks between pieces and then paint it white before i can finish the installation of the heater.  I tried to install the heater we were replacing in the apartment but i measured incorrectly and drilled a hole in the wrong place.  Turns out the “measure twice, cut once” cliche isn’t just a clever ruse by the tape measure lobby to wear their products out faster to make you buy more.  Who knew?
