I filled in at the bike shop for a little while so Mike could run his cousin to the airport.  A 30 minute task turned into over 3 hours.  We’ve been busy.  Swift sales and many repairs.  Today we sold a guy a chain for a BMX bike.  He was from Juneau and he said he hasn’t been able to find the right chain in Juneau, Sitka, or Ketchikan.  We were lucky to have bought such a diverse inventory.  I also met Damian Lopez who is cycling from Alaska to southern Argentina.  Any friends that might be along his route that can give him a couch to crash on or even a few minutes for travel tips send him an email from his site.  He’s incredibly nice and has an excellent grasp of English - he’s riding home to Argentina.
