Cologne scents that i would like to see

On Instructables there is a tutorial of how to extract your own perfume oils from plants.  Naturally i started imagining novelty cologne and perfume scents.

  • Bacon
  • Cedar (red and yellow varieties)
  • Fresh cut lawn
  • Clothes dryer exhaust (that’s Cena’s)

I tried to be realistic – only things that actually might be possible to extract make the list.  Any suggestions?

This reminds me of study for freshman year calc with Julie Siracusa. Remember she used to exhale her smoke through an empty toilet paper tube with a fabric softener sheet on the end because she though it made the smoke smell better?

I’m sure this just made it so that we were inhaling two harmful chemicals instead of one.

Ah those were the days. Poison ran rampant through the air.

Oh crap, this is off topic. So for my suggestion, I’d say…maple smoke. Oh wait, that’s probably pretty close to bacon minus the meat. Hmmm…could be wet dog. Just like the perpetual odor of your apartment with Stumpy (no silly, not from him, from the dogs upstairs).

There actually is a fresh cut grass one. Or at least there was. I bought it at Target. Makes me think of Spring. I also have one that smells like pancakes. Hummm pancakes…I’d like some now. :-)

    Jet Fuel

    WD-40

    Wood Stain

Totally agree with Tom, Jet Fuel would be excellent. Perhaps 100LL Avgas as well.
