I just realized that my business should pay the majority of the taxes. Since the business income is the untaxed portion that has me scrounging for money the revenue from the business should pay off the tax. [Sidenote: Shouldn't any tax you paid for in the previous year be deductible on your taxes?] I’m thinking of using a convenience check with a 0% interest rate (until September) and $99 maximum fee to pay the balance. That way i can have the business pay the debt down gradually – say $500 per month – and still be able to pay me my wage.
