Snow on the roof

I spent about three hours on Sunday shoveling off the roof of the carport and the porch. It was a good thing because the snow became wet overnight. I took this picture while on the carport roof. There are quite a few places where the snow is piled high enough to touch the roof. The wet snow and slightly warmer temperatures is making the snow slide off the roof now. Today Petersburg’s schools had the first snow day in 26 years.
