On December 24th i learned about Daytipper.com through Mashable.com. Users of the site submit tips on a variety of topics. The site promises $3 per published tip. I made an account that day and submitted it. Two days later, on December 26th i was emailed by Daytipper and informed that my tip had been accepted and would be entering the “publish queue.” Today i received another email - my tip was finally ready for publication.

Congratulations! Your tip, entitled Use plastic bags from hotels for dirty laundry, is scheduled for publication on 3/8/2007 12:00:00 AM. This tip will be displayed on Daytipper’s Home page for approximately one week after it is published. After that, it will transfer to its respective category page. Payment will be initiated on the date of publication. Normally, the period between publishing and payment is 7-10 days, but can be as long as 4-6 weeks.

We appreciate your interest in the Daytipper tip sharing service and encourage you to submit additional tips in the future.

Daytipper - Don’t just tell someone. Tell everyone.

Daytipper submission

In the two months since submitting my tip my enthusiasm for getting paid to submit ideas has evaporated. Waiting two or more months for payment just won’t help me on my fund drive much. But i’ll start to count it!

Daytipper… submit one for rubber gloves [the medical style]

wear them under leather gloves when on a motorcycle to cut the wind.
wear them under wool and fleese gloves to keep hands dry [and warm] even after the gloves get soaking wet (great for dding).
wear them under work gloves too

a great alternative to big bulky winter gloves.
