The ups and downs of zieak.com

A little over a month ago i joined blogtopsites.com to try and get a comparative hit counter to see how i could make zieak.com rank. Their service has a simple graph that is generated and right now it shows a neat bit of zieak.com history.
Traffic stats for December 18, 2006 through January 18, 2007
You can see that on the 23rd of December the site dipped to zero hits. This is from when RegisterFly dropped the ball on the re-registration that Kevin Dean had already paid for (on the 21st). It seemed that Registrfly employees all went on vacation on the 22nd and didn’t come back to work until the third. Maybe they observed the national day of mourning for Ford. On the 4th and 5th you can see a huge spike in page views but not one for unique visitors. That was me categorizing all of my old blog posts from the transition from blogger to wordpress. The spike on the 9th was from the Lego magnet project hitting Make’s blog and then the one on the 12th was from me finally finding the opportunity to post an image and link to my “I’d hit that” scans from the “The Science of Hitting” book on a thread on Fark.
