Registerfly domain renewals are horrible.

Let’s add terrible, awful, a sham, and many other adjectives to the list. This domain name expired on the 21st of December. A Paypal payment was made prior to that and the funds deleted from the account. Regardless, Registerfly failed to process the renewal - apparently they were previously just a domain retailer through enom.com but this year they became ICAAN certified. Since registerfly was no longer using enom, users had to transfer their domains to registerfly (while thinking all along that they already had their domain with them). To anyone internet savvy, receiving a transfer notice when you don’t intend to transfer reeks of a scam like Domain Registry of America pulls. They will mail you an invoice for your domain renewal even when you have never done business with them. A non-profit i work with fell for this and the treasurer paid the invoice and we suddenly were paying $30 per year for a domain name instead of $10 or less like you can get at respectable registrars like 10-domains or go-daddy. I filled out the complaint form on the InterNIC website after more than a week of my brother and i trying to call registerfly and resolve the problem. All the folks at registerfly could say was that they were having some sort of a system problem and that it would be up in the next day or two. They said that every time. My recommendation to anyone with domains registered with registerfly would be to transfer them to a different registrar as soon as possible. Just a little while before the loss of the domain i added a little counter to some of my pages which demonstrates not only the number of hits to my website but also my feelings. Severe depression hit on December 21st. (But things are back up now so i can grin and share this horrible story!)

The crash of late 06

To transfer a domain from registerfly to a better service you will need an authorization code. Fortunately they are fairly easy to get to. 1. Click on the domain name. 2. Click on “Domain Contact
Information”. 3. Click on “configure”. 4. The authorization code is at the bottom. 5. Enter that code in the transfer dialog on your new registrar.

    Registerfly is stealing our domains
They don’t renew the domains in time
They don’t give as the auth code and they don’t unlock our domains to transfer them to another registrar so our domains are expiring and they use them.
(in the past they stole my domains http://www.cyprusltd.com and http://www.cyprus-ltd.com and now they Stole greek-tour.net, Your-Travel-Guide.net which expired and they didn’t renew them)

Perhaps registerfy.com and enom.com are the same company because registerfly.com stole my domains http://www.cyprusltd.com and http://www.cyprus-ltd.com and now I see that are hosted to enom.com and play ads for enom.com

They connect with advertising companies or they have their one advertising company and they take advantage of the being registars and they are stealing domains from their customers which they use them to show advertising links for them.!!!
Internet is full of complaints about registerfly, it is a fraud company.
How do you let them be in business for so long.

Please someone HELP ME in order to leave from these crops.
