So the new pool is supposed to be done on Friday. There will be a number of things still being worked on in the next few weeks but the building should be working as planned. (Think about the second Death Star and how on the surface it appeared incomplete but was in fact “fully operational” as the Emperor put it.) In the middle of September Cena and I are headed to Anchorage for a meeting I have. We’re thinking about making it a little longer than just a weekend trip up and back though. We have not been able to spend time in the area when it wasn’t winter. I need to head to Homer anyway to look at an accessible fishing facility that we will be using for inspiration for an improvement to the area just north of Eagle’s Roost Park. Then in the middle of October we’re headed to Seattle along with three of my staff members to go to the national p&r conference in Seattle. We’re all going so that we can get inspired to put on a good state conference when it is hosted in 2008 in Petersburg.
