Flickr can be a pretty neat service for exposure.

I would like to ask you for permission to use your photo of the Alamo located at http://www.flickr.com/photos/zieak/77513285/ in a non-commercial purpose.
I work for the Texas A&M University Libraries, and both Texas A&M and the University of Texas are hosting an academic conference in January 2007, to be located in San Antonio. We are currently preparing promotional material for the conference (a website and print marterials), and I came across your photo while searching for appropriate images of San Antonio.
You don’t have it tagged with a Creative Commons license, but I thought that I would go ahead and see if you would grant permission for this use. The final website is not yet accessible, but will be available at http://openrepositories.org/.
If you have any questions regarding this request, please email me at adam@tamu.edu. Thanks for your consideration.

In less than a week i’ll be in Fairbanks. The weather will be chilly but at least we have this to look forward to.
Thanks to archive.org i have some files i thought were long lost.
Yes, that is Megatron from the Transformers. Yes, that is a dvd playing in the dash of my car. Yes, i am a complete geek.

So i have mentioned the possibility of having my projects featured in ReadyMade magazine. I bet most of you have never heard of it though. Last fall i made the Nintendo cardreader and more recently put a tutorial on Instructables. Have you heard of Popular Photography magazine? Check this out from the comments on the Instructables page…
Hey zieak,
I’m an editor at Popular Photography, and I might like to put this in our June issue. Will you write me at dgrossman[@]hfmus.com?
best,
Debbie
