Last weekend was extra long. The City had half of Friday off and all of Monday off. This weekend is long for me also – I have Monday off. Next weekend Cena and i are going to Portland and we’ll be gone Monday and part of Tuesday. The weekend after that will be long for me because of Martin Luther King Jr. day. Then i’ll only have a two day weekend! The terror! Fortunately, the last weekend of January Cena and I will be in Anchorage and we plan on leaving for that trip on Thursday and returning Sunday. Then, *gasp* the next two weekends will only be two days long also! After that it looks like D.C. and NY for a bit of time east.

I have been working on a website for Ron Loesch’s charter operation Whalesong Cruises. I just need more text and a few more pictures (there are place holders now) and to figure out how to get the company logo to play nicely with the navigation that is set up.

This month will be my biggest income yet from djing. Taxes this year will be harsh. But i have spent more than $4,000 on equipment for my business this year so i’ll have some write-offs.

I have a few more web projects going on too. One site for Anthony and Tiffany Borges to list real estate for sale for their operation in the Mat-Su valley. Another for the Wrangell Sentinel – the weekly paper for our southern neighboring island community. And finally i have to get something working for Klas Stolpe to display and sell his photographs online.

Woot!

If you couldn’t quite get enough of Napoleon Dynamite then you should listen to the radio ads and watch the tv spots he and Pedro made for the Utah State fair. They pretty much are the coolest ads ever made by a person.

What would you do with a half million dollars invested in the stock market next year? I think it is about time that i started to seriously think about my retirement. I thought that perhaps a year of practice would be good before i ever invest anything in the market. So i’m inviting you to join me in a friendly competition. It is free to join. The group competition id is “zieak” and the password to join is “begone”. You’ll get $500,000 for this competition and it ends December 31st 2006. You can join any time.

If you use stumble upon feel free to add me as a friend. If you don’t use stumble upon but sometimes just want to see something – anything on the internet but just don’t have any direction i recommend it.

For more than two years i have used the images at the top of my site. I added a bunch the other day – but since you only see one at a time… here’s a page that has all the images on it.
