Out of curiosity i thought i’d look at some Houston area traffic cameras. I’m not a real fan of Texas in general - but this storm looks like it actually wants to hit Texas pretty badly. I’ll be in Texas in just over three weeks.

Seeing the roads so deserted is creepy. It reminds me of driving home from work on 9/11.
One of my students is from Houston. She knows her parents are safe but not her home, or all her friends.

We got lucky here in Houston this time. I was one of the three personel left behind to ride out the storm at the Coast Guard base onb the Houston ship channel. It’s still hard to find gas in town after the mass evacuation.
