A few Thursdays ago we did auto extrication for the fire department drill. Herbert Law was there and shot some nice pictures of the fun. I’m the one in the bulky black gear.

There are many tools used - one is commonly called the jaws of life. But we call them “spreaders.” We also use “cutters” and “rams” and other tools.
