If you go to a Boy Scout Jamboree you will be in a troop of 36 youth with 4 adults. A group from Alaska went to this event that happens every four years. Today was the first day - a day to set up tents and your gateway to your site. Not a day for an entire troop’s adult leadership to die. The Jamboree will not be very pleasant for those troop members. The homecoming will be painful also.

o i did not realize that … boy scouts really get more prestige than girl scouts, but scouting in general is just so …. honorable, i guess. my baby (ies) will eventually partake, i hope.
aside: my mom led my brownie troop back in the day, but she now recounts that i would sulk until she allowed me to walk home and watch Sesame Street. it was the first year we had a tv, i must’ve been dazzled. or suffered from social anxiety or something.
