to the highest bidder

Tiffany says that my eBay post below inspired her to sell her penpal services. $135 in postage that she says she’ll pay. I think this would make a great gift for a college student or an inmate (hmmm… the only one i know is Brian Radel and he owes the mayor thousands of dollars.) I think that Tiffany’s project is a great one - i just hope the bids come in at $500 or so. To help get the buyer in touch with the seller i have contributed to the project. I bought a $25 week-long classified ad on fark. At this moment there have been 326 hits to her auction page from the ad i sponsored and the bidding is at $26. Best of luck Tiffany!

dude 1000 people have now looked at it! And I must credit that to you, as your fark ad shows over 800 hits. zieak! you’re such a great co-conspirator, thanks, man.
I *especially* like all the responses where guys (presumably) are debating whether I’m hot enough to bang. Good God.
this is already too much fun.

I am thinking someone should buy this for your mom. I know my mom would appreciate me writing her letters. Even just one a week. Hmmm… Maybe i’ll bid on it for a gift for my mom…

Yeah, and just how many letters have you gotten from your mom? Hmmm, maybe she should bid on it for a gift for you! At least you have this neat little blog - your mom doesn’t even do that!

what a stir on the interweb/ fark and over 2000 hits in less than three day’s… tiffany, how much would it cost me to advertise on your ebay page [someone patent that...product placement/advertisements on ebay listings]? you could put “see http://www.betaart.com for more pictures of me”. (yes, that was a shameless plug for my site)

btw: i’d bid but the bidding has already surpassed my allowance.

…and that Great Alaskan Bush Company girl looks a lot like you [A+ for that fark post]! [jack wanted me to write that in all caps but i wouldn't let him]

i can’t resist jack’s commands, OR the shift button for caps, kevin. you’re a stronger man than me. zieak i really like the new front page.
so eBay is like its own universe. am I reading this eBay Live 2005 stuff correctly, they’re all meeting up in San Jose in June?
equal parts disturbing and intriguing, I say.

I have a bit of overhaul to do - links are not working and that kind of stuff - but that’s the direction i’m going with the site - simpler again.

  9. Zieak Zieak Says:

Damn. Sometime in the past hour eBay pulled Tiffany’s listing. There isn’t anything close on their banned list. Fight it Tiffany!

it’s because i put an addendum on there about donating 20% to a non-profit. which is fair, they can’t have every rampant seller claiming that… So I’ve gone thru Mission Fish, to get another one going. But the charity will have to ‘accept’ my listing, which of course occurs “within 2-5 business days.”
I didn’t want to lose my momentum, especially considering your Fark ad, so I’ve listed another one. I’m going to be busy little writer. I’ve also begun my bidding considerably higher. i’ve also changed the photo, my from-the-neck-up nudity got more questions than I wanted to respond to.
