It has been quite a while but GeoUrl is finally back up and running. Click on this link or on the link column and you’ll see a list of websites in the area. Someone made a really neat Firefox extension for GeoUrl too. If you install it a little globe lights up at the bottom right of the window when you visit sites that have the tags installed.
Here’s a neat site for us thrift shoppers… eBay auctions that end in the next hour and the bidding is at a dollar or less. Be careful and look closely at shipping costs and payment methods (experience talking). If you want to bid on other eBay stuff and hate losing use this little cheating tool to slip bids in during the last seconds of an auction.
I remember when all that the word “google” meant to me was “1 followed by 100 zeros”. Check out their collection of festive logos over the years.
I stumbled on some disturbing sites about cat torture and decided to counter with this nice page of cats sleeping.
Here’s a link to the Southpark character generator part deux. And my character would be something like this…

These images are not animated. They are your mind and eyes playing tricks on you.
Internet Explorer is unsafe. Firefox isn’t perfect but it is a lot better. If you’re using IE then there should be a box floating in the bottom right of the screen when you load my page. To make it go away you just need to install and use Firefox! Anyone that wants to add the Firefox reminder to the IE users that visit their site need only copy and paste this code into your site (or site template) just before the </body> line near the bottom of your code.

On Sunday Yeti got his claws on a varied thrush. I chased after him and he let it go but the bird had a hard time flying. A few hours later Yeti got in a scuffle with another cat (i presume) and when i let him in he was limping a bit. By Monday morning he wouldn’t use his front left paw much at all. I was able to find a wound Monday evening and by Tuesday i had shaved the area around it with clippers and applied hydrogen peroxide to halt the infection he was beginning to get. Why didn’t i just take him to the vet? Because they are “closed until further notice” according to their answering machine. I know she has her own needs to meet right now. Thursday i put Yeti in a kennel and flew him up to Juneau to be attended to by the animal hospital there. $92.97 one way. I don’t know what his care bill will be. I have a little bit of a head cold but it is hard to notice with me worrying about the little guy so much. Here’s a picture i took of him Wednesday night.

Just in case i cause myself excessive brain damage from an eating disorder or huffing paint…
1. I do not want to be kept on life support for any longer than a few days. Ever. Let my family gather and grieve, say goodbye and let me go peacefully.
2. If any of my organs can be of any use immediately make them available.
3. I do not want to be buried. Please have me either cremated or turned into a pretty stone. Once that is done i’d probably like to be scattered here and there if ashes and if a gem perhaps drop me in a crevasse way up on an ice field or off the side of a kayak in Sitka Sound.
4. Have a shindig and not a wake. There should be ample Guinness and New York steak. Pistachios, Tilamook smoked cheddar cheese, smoked salmon, and crackers. Ther should be lots of story telling. Especially funny stories about me – you should be able to print out some pages from this site and read them off. Reading this page would be way too morbid though.
5. Have fun trying to find enough money to pay off all my debt. Maybe some day, when i’m in the black, i’ll flesh out an informal will.
