Cheesestick

Today at lunch i ordered “mozzarella sticks” as an appetizer. Cena pointed out (right after finishing our order) that i don’t call them “cheesesticks”. I hadn’t ever noticed. I really love cheesesticks. When i go for a long time without them i start to long for them. I never make cheesesticks at home – they are a special treat only enjoyed while out.

They are a guilty pleasure, that’s for sure. What more can you ask for…fat, fried in fat, dipped in fat. Mmmm is right.

or… how about bacon wrapped cheesesticks?! hey QD, quick spot test, what is the sign for cheesesticks??

  4. Speaking of bacon… i registered baconbytes.net and will eventually be building an online bacon community. i’m thingking of bacon recipes, bacon goods, bacon clipart, photos (imagine a glistening pile of bacon desktop image) and audio files (homer saying “mmm bacon” instead of “you’ve got mail!”.

until this afternoon i believed cheese belonged anywhere, that its presence improved anything: a cracker, some scrambled eggs, my bubble bath.
UNTIL i accidentally bought sushi with cream cheese in it. ???? so gross. like a blob of nothingness ruining my serious somethingness. ugh.
but cheesesticks rawk, for real. I would never ever prepare them at home, either. It wouldn’t feel right.

well, because I would eat forty of them instead of the polite rations given in diners.

I’m sorry Tiff, but WHY? I can’t handle uncooked fish…

it’s such tiny pieces in the rice rolls though, and i usually get the cucumber/shrimp/avocado variety, so i’m really not that adventurous either. and hey, if you smother it in wasabi, your pain will outlast any squishy textures.
