The summer of 1995 i worked at Philmont Scout Ranch. A few years earlier the Forest Service had partnered with the Boy Scouts to allow the scouts to use an area called the Valle Vidal. After the Forest Service twice rejected the plans, guess who’s “energy task force” was approached and then began pushing for the area to be opened for drilling.
I can say with certainty that the Valle Vidal is a haven for elk. The area is used by ranchers too. Most areas would make for great hunting also - since there are roads that access many areas already.
We really need to be investing in some sustainable energy sources. These wars and drilling plans and Exxon Valdez accidents…

hi there, zieak! was trying to comment in the i-pod area, but for some reason, wasn’t working. was also trying to help out & complete your offer and maybe get a pink i-pod of my own, but seems a credit card is needed to participate. so, i tried. my computer illiteracy and lack of plastic has left me helpless and pink i-podless. what’s a girl to do? guess i’ll eat a popcorn ball. sorry i couldn’t help. happy halloween!

Damn. Girl you need the plastic. Thanks for trying though. I feel so close to getting that iPod - yet so far away.
