I spend a LOT of time in a recliner in my computer room. I made two wall-mounted shelves for either side of the chair to help me keep my Guinness, phones, bills, speakers, and other junk organized and off of the floor. Nothing really special about that. But what is neat is that i made them from rope spools that Angela gave to me from Shipwrights that would have gone to the dump. And if that wasn’t special enough, i managed to attach both to the walls without missing a stud. A shelf like this is something i have envisioned for my cats to sit and look out the window… hmmm… another project!
