barb, we were looking at pictures of hernias on the internet last night for a while. some of them were the size of watermelons and some of them were all cut open so you could see how cool they were inside.

and it was “A REALLY BIG HERNIA” according to the surgeon, though not watermelon sized.

just do a google image search. You might need to do it in adult mode though.

we like to do google image searches for words and see what pictures come up. “hormone” has really interesting results- there are a lot of neat drawings. searches for abstract concepts or uncommon adjectives also totally rule.
