Rebate bait

Zieak Add comments

I did a bit of shopping in Juneau. Not a lot - but more than i would have while in Petersburg. I bought an item at Costco (not this though) that had a $25 rebate. After quite a few poor experiences with rebates (amounting to at least $130 in money that i never got back) i pretty much ignore them. But i decided to look at my receipt and see what it entailed. Remarkably, you can get your rebate by just going to the Costco website and filling in a few fields about your purchase and viola! No receipt to submit, no bar codes to clip, nothing to mail in. Hopefully I’ll be getting that check in the “four to six weeks.”

i’m rather fond of The Morgan Casket, slick smooth lines… but i would rather it in stainless steel, i mean how long do you figure the 18ga steel will last in the ground. maybe i’ll place my order now and use it at a dining room table untill i need it.

It’s also funny how you’d find it in “Hardware and outdoor living”. Hopefully if you’re in it, it’s not “outdoor living”.

Note that the casket does not ship to Alaska. Up here, we just let the scavenger animals eat us (so THAT’s what that stuff that comes out of PFI is…)

I’ve done Rite Aid rebates on-line & it worked pretty well - was faster than mailing, too.
