Tomorrow i head to Juneau for the Alaska Recreation and Park Association conference and a series of SEAtrails meetings. I leave Petersburg on the morning jet and am supposed to arrive in Juneau at 12:30. I’ll pick up my rental car (mental note - better jot down what rental company the reservation is with), drive to McDonald’s or Taco Bell, eat, drive to the Nugget “Mall” for my 2:00 haircut appointment, and then probably head to Fred Meyer to shop the $10 DVD rack. By then I can head to Bern and Wendie’s place in Douglas to watch the vice-presidential debates and set up my room for the next five nights. The only bad part about staying at Bern and Wendie’s is the darn shower gets very little water pressure and even less hot water. I have meetings lined up for almost every evening - and one evening i have to miss the “social” at the relatively new ice rink for a SEAtrails meeting. Looks like the forecast indicates i should bring a few changes of raincoats.
