Just this afternoon sand started arriving at Sandy Beach Park. In the next two weeks the sand will be spread and the road that is in front of the shelters will be removed. The two circle drives will be created near the shelters and then more sand will be hauled to in front of and between the shelters.

Oh, I just get a big kick out of you bringing sand to “Sandy Beach” Park!

Yeah - it had once been quite sandy but much of the sand was stolen for use in the concrete foundations of some of the towns early buildings.
