I dislike apostrophes. I have to think for just a split second whenever i write “its” to think if i need the apostrophe. Really - how many people still say “of the clock”? Is “o’clock” truly in need of abbreviation if nobody ever uses the full term? If we are smart enough to know the difference between the different uses of the word “minute” (like as in 60 seconds or as in something small) then certainly we can figure out what someone means when they write “dont”.
